CALL TO ORDER / PRESENTATION
- Bill Steenis called the meeting to order at 7:07pm. Present were Bill and Cindy Steenis, Jim and Joyce Bowen, Trina Coleman, Steve ad Barb Yandl, Cheryl Carlson, Tony Laffranchi, Wayne Johnson, Craig and Julie Walker, Vince Axley, Richard Tickle, Jen Stout (& Jamie)
- We had a presentation by Chuck Morrison of the Snohomish Chapter of the American Red Cross. He spoke of Disaster Preparedness. Chuck spoke for approximately 45 minutes. After which we began the business portion of the meeting.
- Minutes were approved from the April Meeting.
- In our operational reserve we have $23,949. In the long-term fun there is $69,566 when all the dues are in we will add $10,000 to this account. Right now the checking account is at $60,117.
- We have not had surprise expenses this year.
- We have about $3300 in outstanding expenses.
- There are only four families that have not paid their HOA fees for the year.
- The main concern at this point is the fence. Brian still has not painted the fence panels.
- We will also have the Boat pressured washed at the Boat Park.
- CC&R Violations
- Currently things are in good shape.
- Yard of Merit
- Judging for the Yard of Merit will begin in May. We have enough judges to have three a month, there are currently 9. Bill Is looking for someone to take over the program.
- The signs for the month of May were handed out on Sunday the 2nd.
- Painting
- A Homeowner asked if we should do painting parties to paint the new panels. We discussed this and talked about past efforts to have work parties.
- Elections
- Ballots are due at the end of the month.
- Feel free to offer write in candidates, there have been 7 write in candidates to date.
- We are looking for two new board members.
- Rentals
- Warner – Gave a quick summary, but we feel this one may be done. We have not heard from the Warners or their attorney in several months.
- Guimont – The deposition with Melissa Withey is scheduled for next week. A summary of the case was given for the benefit of the homeowners present. Including the decision from the Summary Judgment.
- Sharma – This is still a waiting game. Steve sent a reminder to them letting them know that the lien is still accumulating. Steve Sharma has asked for a one on one meeting with Steve and he has declined. He has offered to have a meeting with the attorneys present or that they may come to a meeting and present an offer to the board.
