CALL TO ORDER / PRESENTATION OF MINUTES
- Suzan Miller called the meeting to order at 7:00pm.Present were Suzan Miller, Steve Yandl, Nicole Klages, Tim Day, and Rick Sallee.
- Minutes of the May 2016 (annual HOA) meeting were presented and unanimously approved.
- Steve Yandl reported on current financial status.
- Currently $23,403 in checking after the check to Town and Country Fence for $32,097 cleared our account.
- There is $50,826 in the long term reserve which will be depleted considerably when we renew in July and transfer $34k to checking per the reserve analysis.
- We have $5,698 in operational reserve.
- After several last minute payments for the 2016 assessment we had claims of lien recorded on 6 members.
- Town and Country Fence has completed wood fence work.We will be getting a new quote from them to replace wood fence with chain link along the southern border of the storm water retention pond in our NE corner (terminus of 72nd Drive)
- Homeowner, Chris Perkins sent an email alerting us to the broken bench in the tot play area on 72nd which we were already aware of.Rick Sallee and Tim Day felt they could do the repairs.
- Discussed how Skinner Landscape is performing on contract work.There has been significant improvement since early spring but the common areas still are not up to usual standards.Agreed to postpone non contract work other than sprinkler system repairs until the regular contract work performance is back at par.
- Tim Day replaced the lock for our boat park electrical outlet and brought new keys to the meeting.
- Turfs Up applied spring weed and pest treatment to common area lawns.
- A mattress was discarded in one of the flower beds along Snohomish Cascade Drive but by the time Rick Sallee and Tim Day went to haul it away some good Samaritan appears to have taken it to the dump.
- Several requests from homeowners.
- Dave Veith – Shed roof to stay cedar shake when house roof upgraded to Presidential - approved.
- McBride – Roof replacement, Presidential shakes approved.
- Hehn – Roof replacement, Presidential shakes approved.
- Weberg – Columns on front corners of drive, plans submitted, approved.
- Parkin – Request for plantings was approved, plans for a patio cover with metal roof were denied but conditional approval was given to erect the cover if a cedar shake roof replaced the original metal roof (or covered it).
- Johnson, Amy and Paul – Roof replacement with Presidential TL shakes - approved.
- Pelkmans – Tree removal of problem tree in corner of back yard approved.
- Orozco – Roof replacement with Presidential TL shakes approved.
- Complaints, CC&R violations
- Weeds and lawn, 6730 154th Street SE.There is a sale pending but a letter will be sent to the current owner to insure compliance in case the sale doesn’t close in a timely manner.
- Blue tarp cover in homeowner back yard over a pool, clearly visible from Snohomish Cascade Drive.There was previously a more subdued fabric cover.
- Several situations where boats and or trailers are parked curbside for extended periods.
- Election of new directors completed.We had a quorum.Directors remain the same.If we have any resignations we will consider Ken Waldal who got a write in vote.

- No payment yet or additional contact from Tim and Kelly Sooter regarding the fine over their roof replacement not being done quickly enough.If payment isn’t received by the June 26, 2016 deadline, two month’s interest will be added and a claim of lien recorded.
- Same officers retained in a unanimous vote.Suzan Miller remains president and Steve Yandl remains secretary and treasurer.Steve Yandl remains chairman of the architectural control committee and maintenance committee.
